Haruka is a qualified Remedial therapist whose journey into massage therapy began with a passion for helping others achieve wellness and balance in their lives. Originally from Japan, Haruka’s background in psychology equips her with a depth of empathy and understanding of the trauma and stresses which often underly physical pain.
“Through psychology I helped my clients to live better lives. Studying psychology also helped me learn about myself and I gained awareness of the path I wanted to take.
The reason I was interested in massage therapy was that the conditions of the body and mind are so strongly related. In massage, touching hands to the body brings lots of information about clients and I want to listen to clients’ needs and help them relieve symptoms using my knowledge of anatomy and techniques I have learned. I want to treasure every meeting and encounter I have.”
