What is Lomi Lomi massage?
Lomi Lomi comes from Hawaii, and “lomi” means to rub or knead. It traditionally uses long, sweeping strokes with the hands and forearms, so the massage flows from one area to the next rather than working one spot at a time.
Lomi Lomi or relaxation massage?
Both are gentle, full body styles. Our relaxation massage uses Swedish massage techniques, while Lomi Lomi traditionally uses longer, continuous strokes with the hands and forearms. If you would like firmer work on tight areas, a deep tissue massage may suit you better.
